Our Instructors & Staff Members

Our Instructors have spent many years devoted to training in the martial arts and have attained a certain level of expertise to qualify them as teachers and also mentors.

Through extensive testing, certification and tournament level competition, our staff has attained mastery in this martial art and now enjoy sharing their skill and passing it on to their students. Here are a few of Shogun Martial Arts's instructors and other staff members, starting with Shaun Hahn:

Shaun Hahn  (5th Degree Black Belt)  *5th Degree Black Belt in a blended system: Kenpo, Jiu Jitsu, Boxing, Muay Thai, TKD and Extreme Hisardut.(Kyoshi Steve LaVallee-Shihan Jim Andrello) *Level Two Certified Muay Thai Insrtuctor (Under Hung Tran) *1st Degree Black Belt in Goshin Jitsu(Jon Drouin) *2 years of private training in Pancration(Dan Fraden) *2 years of private training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu/No-Gi & MMA (Jordan Daemon) *Brown Belt in Ketsugen Karate (Master Ken Fowler) *Blue Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu *Currently MMA/Muay Thai Kickboxing Coach *Also prior training with Royler Gracie, Royce Gracie, Bill Wallace, Joe Lewis, Chris Casimassa and Currently did training with Matt Hughes, Dan Henderson, Chuck Lidell and Ricardo Liborio of American Top Team. *1992 NBL rankings in forms Nationally 5th and Regionally 3rd(1992) *Over 60 awards in local and national tournaments ranging from 3rd place to multiple grand championships in forms, weapons and fighting. "My goal for our system is to train with the top masters of the world, to bring new skills of modern technique from all disciplines. Ann Hahn  (2nd Degree Black Belt)  Ann was promoted to her second degree in August 2008. She had lots of self discipline with her training and worked very hard towards her goal. Ann was the team leader for her first degree cycle of candidates, and was instrimental in helping her team get through the tough three day test. Ann is a multi-style martial artist. She is a great role model and leader, both physically and mentally. Tough in sparring/reaction training, but respectful and very approachable. Ann is a good example of "LEADERSHIP BY EXAMPLE" She is also currently in training for her 2nd degree. April-August 2008 test.

Becca Resch  (Assistant Instructor/High Red Belt)  Currently, Becca is a Brown belt and began her training in June of 2007. She enjoys working with children of all ages. She has four years of teaching experience with the toddler and elementary age children. Becca is a highly competitive athlete. She played high school basketball and went on to play at college level(Roberts Wesleyan College). She currently is a well respected, top salesperson at Netzman's Appliance store. She is one of the most driven, talented and hardest working female at Shogun. "I have committed myself to training all the way to the Black Belt level and beyond". Christopher Hubbell  (Dojo Photographer)  "As a student of Shogun Marital Arts I enjoy developing new skills, and achieving challenging goals. As a photographer I enjoy the challenge of capturing those same experiences for other students. A belt test is every student's opportunity to begin the next step of the journey by pushing themselves to a new level, and I especially appreciate the opportunity to photograph these milestones.
